Chicken CSA Begins May 23rd
Here's everything you need to know to get ready for seven months of our truly pasture-raised, organically fed chickens.

What are the Details?
SEASON & TIMING
Your CSA runs May through November. Around the third week of each month, we'll prepare and disperse your chicken share.
PICK WHATS IN YOUR MONTHLY SHARE
Option 1: Full Bird Share
3 whole chickens (typically 4-6 lbs),
Option 2: Chicken Mix Share
1 whole chicken (typically 4-6 lbs), which can be substituted for additional cuts
About 4 lbs of chicken cuts, which will rotate monthly to keep things interesting - breasts one month, thighs the next!
2 packages of chicken sausage (about 2 lbs total), with seasonings that may vary
We'll also tuck in recipe cards and bonus surprise items from time to time! Each month we'll send you a simple form so you can tell us exactly how you'd like your share, so you always get what you want.
PICK-UP OPTIONS
You have three convenient pick-up options, and we hope to add more!
Meadow Rise Farm, every third Saturday of the month (the date may occasionally shift)
Wayward Lane Brewery, every third Sunday at their Market In The Meadow farmers market
Left Bank Ciders in Catskill, dates TBD
DELIVERY
If you'd prefer home delivery and you're in the capital region, we can bring your share right to your doorstep for an additional $60. If you refer a friend who signs up for the CSA, your 2026 delivery is free!
MISSED A PICK-UP?
Just contact us and we'll work something out, whether that's rolling your share over to the following month or arranging a different pick-up day at the farm.
